Privacy Policy
Effective June 14, 2026. This policy explains how apush.app and the APUSH iOS app handle study progress and account data.
Information we collect
When you use apush.app or the APUSH iOS app, we save the study data needed to run the product: answered questions, score progress, streaks, XP, readiness estimates, explanation cache entries, and question flags you choose to submit.
The iOS app creates an anonymous Firebase account so progress can sync reliably. The web app may also let you sign in with Google if you choose to use that option.
How we use information
We use study data to show your progress, adapt question difficulty, estimate AP readiness, sync across devices, and improve question quality when users flag issues.
If you request an explanation, the relevant question and answer context may be sent to our explanation service so the app can return feedback.
Notifications
The iOS app can send optional local study reminders. These reminders are scheduled on your device and can be turned off in the app or in iOS Settings.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not run third-party ads in the app. We do not use your study activity to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Service providers
We use Firebase for authentication, database storage, and hosting. The web app uses privacy-conscious analytics to understand general product usage. These services process data only so we can operate, secure, and improve apush.app.
Deleting data
To request deletion of synced study data associated with your account, email marco.georgaklis28@gmail.com with the subject line APUSH data deletion. We may need information that helps identify the account record to complete the request.
Students and families
APUSH is designed as a study tool for AP US History students. The app does not include public profiles, social posting, direct messaging, or in-app purchases.
